Admission requirements
- An earned bachelor's degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7
- A valid K-12 teaching certificate, including out-of-state teaching certificates. Applicants who graduated from a pass/fail institution with no GPA calculated on the transcript may also be considered for admission.
- If you do not have a valid K-12 teaching certificate, you may be considered for admission with stipulations. If you receive regular admission with stipulations, you will be required to submit a current professional résumé and a written statement identifying how the program will help you meet your career goals.
- If you're admitted to the program without a valid K-12 teaching certificate and wish to earn your initial teaching certificate, you will be required to complete a state-approved teacher preparation program.
How much does an online Health & PE grad certificate cost?
The cost shown below is based on the current tuition and fee estimate. Your actual cost of attendance for financial aid purposes may vary based on your assigned tuition rate, the number of credits you're enrolled in and the length of your enrollment period. If you're enrolled in a single module instead of a full semester, your housing and food, transportation and personal expenses will be adjusted based on the number of weeks you're enrolled (for example, 12-week or 8-week modules). If you're enrolled less than half-time, your cost of attendance will not include housing and food, personal expenses or loan fees.
